Carmi Taekwondo Center's vision is to provide the best sports and fitness instruction in the tri-state area at a competitive price. To be the best is to train the best. Our mission is to provide quality instructors and instruction to everyone in the tri-state area that wants to learn a martial art. We want to improve our students both physically and mentally. We stress the importance of courtesy, respect, cooperation, self-control, perseverance, and peaceful resolutions to problems in addition to physical fitness. CTC offers excellent instructor/student ratios that provide students with personalized attention. Carmi Taekwondo Center will retain these values as we continue to grow and expand. We pride ourselves as a local business that responds to local concerns and offer programs that reflect both social and community needs. We believe that without our instructional staff we could not function effectively. It is our supporting staff that drives our business.
Pre-TKD (Ages 4-6)
Children aged 4-6 can begin their journey into Songahm Taekwondo through Carmi Taekwondo Center's Pre-TKD program. Every student is encouraged, there are no losers, as there are with other sports.
Children get a jump-start by learning at a young age a basic foundation that carries over into everyday life. In addition to learning punches and kicks, they learn to listen and pay attention, respect themselves and others, follow instructions and build self-confidence.

- Thursdays | 4:15 p.m. - 4:45 p.m.
Our children's Taekwondo classes are designed for kids ages 6-12. In addition to learning the art of Songahm Taekwondo, children also learn skills such as Respect and Self Discipline. Enroll today and see the difference that Taekwondo can make both in your child's Self-Esteem and Self-Discipline.

You're never too old to begin martial arts! Songahm Taekwondo is also great for adults of all ages. Everything in taekwondo class carries over into everyday life. Learn various self-defense techniques through kicks, strikes, blocks and forms. Taekwondo is a great form of exercise, working the cardiovascular system as well as developing muscle strength and tone, flexibility, balance and coordination.

Tai chi was originally developed as a martial art, but has since evolved into a graceful form of exercise. It has often been described as meditation in motion and its gentle, flowing movements promote serenity. It is a great exercise for almost any age and fitness level and no experience is necessary. Benefits include improved balance, increased flexibility, stress relief and improved health. All levels welcome.

Ladies' Cardio Kick Boxing
A great way to get in shape, toning your muscles without expensive equipment. This is a safe and effective training that anyone can learn.
Cardio Kickboxing uses martial arts techniques, improving coordination and balance while relieving stress. You will increase your muscle mass and build your stamina.
This class is available to women only!
Cost is $5 per class
